Mindful Movement

Mindful Movement can profoundly facilitate and enhance the therapy process by engaging the physical body’s natural capacity to move, sense and feel, via accessible entry points that are appropriate to individual needs - gentle stretching for relaxation, balancing exercises to access assist self-regulation, explorative movement to test new edges and develop self confidence and vigorous movement to release tension and emotions. 

Mindful Movement assists clients to tune into their breath, heartbeat and sensations to become more informed about the issues that they want solve.

Mindful Movement helps the development of self-regulatory skills to manage the physiological and emotional symptoms trauma by bringing the hormonal and nervous systems into balance.

Mindful Movement can inspire the client to trust and embrace a new dynamic relationship with the body’s intelligence, strength and innate capacity to explore, move through and heal blocks.
